Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this site. It is a small site, so we have tried to get the basics right rather than promise more than we can check.
What we have done
- All text, buttons and links can be reached and used with a keyboard, and the focused element is clearly outlined.
- Text and background colours meet the WCAG 2.2 AA contrast ratio.
- The page works at 400% zoom and on small screens without sideways scrolling.
- The background video on the home page has no sound and no information that is not also in the text. If your system asks for reduced motion, the video does not play and a still image is shown instead.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Headings and lists are marked up so screen readers can navigate by structure.
What is not right yet
- The site has not yet been tested with a screen reader by an external reviewer. This is planned.
- The legal pages are long. We plan to add a short summary at the top of each.
Tell us about a problem
If you cannot use part of this site, or you need information in another format, email customerservice@zapbay.co.uk. Tell us the page and what went wrong, and we will get back to you within five working days.
Stations
ZapBay stations are placed so that the slots and the card reader can be reached from a seated position, and the screen uses large type. If a station is hard to reach or use, tell us which venue and we will look at it.
